Bio

I’ve been playing various instruments since I was 7 and have been singing for as long as I can remember. I inherited my vocal ability from my mum, who was classically trained. She’s always encouraged me and taught me to sing for as long as I can remember. My parents’ musical tastes had a big influence on me growing up—on my mum’s side, it was musical theatre soundtracks, swing, and ’70s music, while my dad introduced me to country and various traditional styles.

I spent time performing in musical theatre and was part of many productions, some of which I had lead roles in. Then, following in my mother’s footsteps, I completed all my grads with RIAM (Royal Irish Academy of Music). I then began writing songs around the age of 16 and used songwriting as a coping mechanism to deal with grief and personal experiences I’ve gone through.

In particular, growing up listening to Garth Brooks is where I believe I shaped my storytelling ability, putting down raw, real lyrics. My sound, with hooks and melodies, is inspired by a wide range of artists I listen to. Paolo Nutini and Ed Sheeran are artists I’ve admired hugely from a young age. My style differs with each song I record, with different melodies, pace, energy, and lyrics, which I think take the listener to new heights and emotions with every single I release. I’m gravitating toward a folk-pop sound.

Overall, my dream is to perform live and connect with the energy of the crowd. I’ve always been inspired by artists like Ed Sheeran—there’s something powerful in the simplicity of just him and a guitar, and that approach really resonates with me too.

I started gigging at 18, and music quickly became not just an obsession but a reality that I could strive toward. Months later, I released my debut single “Already Been Told,” which is currently my highest-streamed song in my catalogue. It’s surreal to see a song I first wrote at 17—after going through nearly 100 versions before its release to now streaming so well on Spotify. It’s a euphoric feeling. The support I receive is truly mind-blowing and is much appreciated.

I’m currently working on my debut EP, set to release in Autumn 2025, with my debut album to follow.
